About the Founder

Ty A. Partlow
Ty Partlow is the Founder and Managing Principal of Vanguard Quality Consulting.
His background includes leadership and hands-on experience in manufacturing quality management, quality assurance, quality management systems, supplier quality, continuous improvement, internal auditing, corrective action, and new product introduction.
His experience includes maintaining quality management systems aligned with ISO 9001 requirements, leading quality teams and testing operations, developing supplier performance scorecards, supporting AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements, and working with tools such as PFMEA and PPAP.
Ty has also developed structured processes for identifying and managing business, technical, quality, cost, and schedule risks associated with new product introduction.
Vanguard Quality Consulting was established to provide manufacturers with access to practical quality expertise when they need additional capability, an independent perspective, or experienced leadership without necessarily adding another full-time position.
